Hi tumblr! This is probably going to be a very difficult post to male

you see, this is Gizzy, my sweet baby girl, and she’s been with me for about 17 years now.

we’re only about 4 or 5 years apart in age, so we’ve been through a lot together

she’s getting on in age, and my family has never had the decency to bring her to the vet more than once when she was barely a year old

she is currenly bloated and overdrinking and her nose has been dry for a while. she also seems constipated. from looking up things online, and talking to people with some experience, it sounds like she has kidney failure, and i don’t know if I’m even going to be able to do anything for her, but i want to try.

i just want my baby to spend what possibly little time she has left comfortably, and if not, well, helping pay for putting her to sleep, is still something i need to think about…

my family treats her like an expendable pet, and does not care for her as well as they should, and as someone who can’t even take care of my own health, i can’t do much for her on my own

so i’m asking for help

If you can spare anything, even a small amount, i’d like you to consider donating

I’ve also added a donate button to my blog. All the money will go to either getting her a proper checkup, or a way to have her pass peacefully, and if there is overflow for any reason, i’m going to look into some local shelters or some sort of program that helps needy pets, and donate the money to them.
